No measures are currently certified for the 2013 statewide ballot in Wisconsin.
The 2011 legislative session began January 11. Unlike most states with a specific end date, in Wisconsin the leadership of the legislature determines the end date. At least two legislatively-referred constitutional amendments are being considered during the 2011 legislative session for the 2013 statewide ballot.
A majority vote in two consecutive sessions of the Wisconsin Legislature is required to qualify the amendment for the ballot.
