Walter Duke (b. September 18, 1947) is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates. He has represented District 54 since 2002.

Duke earned his BA in Social Studies/Business from Shepherd College in 1969. He went on to receive his MA in History from West Virginia University in 1985.

Duke was a retail manager trainee for Pomeroy's Incorporated in 1969. He then worked as a Management Consultant for Yarger and Associates from 1973 to 1974. From 1969 to 2003, he was a teacher for Berkeley County Schools. [1]

Duke is running for re-election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 61. Duke ran unopposed in the May 8 primary election and is challenged by Jason Barrett in the general election which takes place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Duke was re-elected in the November 2, 2010 general election. He defeated Democrat M. Jason Barrett in the general election. Duke was unopposed in the primary election.[4][5][6]
