Retroactive change policy
- The purpose of the "Tuesday Count" page is to reflect on a week-by-week basis how many ballot measures were certified for the ballot.
- This means that at times when it is discovered that a ballot measure was certified for the ballot by a particular time, and it wasn't reflected in the chart the week that the chart was updated, the chart will retroactively be adjusted to reflect the legal reality of how many measures were certified for the ballot during the week(s) in question.
- In other words, the purpose of this chart is to eventually provide a historical record of just how many measures were legally certified for the ballot on a week-by-week basis, acknowledging that at times, we may have knowledge gaps such that the chart is temporarily inaccurate.
