School board member Steven Wright was recalled from his position on the Lapwai School Board in a recall election held on June 1, 2010.[1]
- Votes to recall Wright: 52
- Votes to keep Wright: 7
Wright was elected in 2007. He became the chairman of the school board in August 2009.
Recall supporters criticized Wright for his employment with a company that does work for the district.[1]
