Gallardo has served in the following positions: Democratic Precinct Committee Member for the Starlight Precinct, First Vice Chairman for District 13 Democrats Committee, Arizona Senate of the Cartwright Elementary School District Board, and member of the Arizona State Democratic Committee. He also served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. During this time, he served as Minority Whip.
