Rowan is running for re-election in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 57. Rowan defeated Terry L. Craver in the May 8 primary election and is challenged by Joe Moreland, Jr. in the general election which takes place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Rowan was re-elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates District 50. She defeated Democrat Alan "Mitch" Davis in the November 2, 2010 general election. She was unopposed in the Primary election. [4][5][6]
