Robert Crisjohn, Yale, Oklahoma, 2010
From Ballotpedia
A petition to recall City Councilmember Robert Crisjohn has been circulated in the city of Yale, Oklahoma. The petition was in circulation for two weeks as supporters tried to reach the required 70-signature goal to place the recall on a future ballot. According to the petition, there are no specific accusations towards the commissioner, only stating: “The above named Commissioner has not acted with the best interests of the City of Yale in mind.[1]
The petition is being reviewed by the Payne County Election Board in order to validate signatures. Maurice Lozier, former city commissioner and supporter of the recall, stated that 74 people had signed the petition. If the election board invalidates at least 5 signatures, the recall effort will be defeated and an election will not take place.
