Oregon Ballot Measure 22 (2000) or Senate Joint Resolution (SJR) 1 is an legislatively-referred constitutional amendment that sets a permanent limit on local taxing district's property tax rate at the district's 1997-1998 rate, but allows increases if the district had local option levy approved by voters in the 1997-1998 tax year. The full measure includes other provisions.[1]
