Ohio Referred Issue 8 was a measure regarding the imposition of taxes. This ballot measure was referred to the ballot by the Ohio State Legislature. It passed, with 56.3% of voters in favor.

On the ballot in the June 8, 1976 primary election.

To consolidate into one section provisions for imposition of taxes and to clarify language (adopt Art. XII, Sec. 3; repeal Art. XII, Secs. 7, 8, 10 and 12).
