All three members of the Multnomah County Commission were successfully recalled in 1924.[1]

The commissioners were recalled for "gross irregularities" in the way they awarded county contracts for the Burnside and Ross Island bridges.[2]

All three county commissioners were proteges of the Ku Klux Klan.[2]
