JACKSON, Mississippi: Legislators in Mississippi ended session on May 3, 2010, without passing recall legislation[1] [2].

Senate Bill 2102 would have allowed citizens in Mississippi to recall elected officials at the local level. In addition, the bill would have allowed citizens to recall school board members[3]

The bill died in committee without seeing a vote in either house of the Legislature[3].
