Text of measure
The language that appeared on the ballot:
To exempt from property tax, in each parish in which the voters have approved a proposition granting such exemption, drilling rigs and any property incorporated in or used in the operation thereof, used outside of the state exclusively for the exploration and development of minerals, but which are located within the state for the purpose of being stored, stacked, converted, renovated, or repaired.
