recall Jack Hoving and Kathryn Way from their positions as elected officials of Lilley Township in
Newaygo County, Michigan took place on

Hoving is a township supervisor while Way is the township's treasurer.
Recall supporters objected to over $50,000 spent by the targeted officials for zoning enforcement and legal opinions.
