A vote about whether to recall Henry Leger from his position on the Fountain Hills town council took place on the March 13th, 2012 ballot in the town of Fountain Hills in Maricopa County. Leger was retained in office. [1]

Background

Residents submitted a petition with the needed 1,317 signatures to initiate the recall of Leger. The main reason behind the recall effort was the support of the single trash hauler for the town. Leger commented that the recall takes away from more important issues facing the town. [2]

  • Votes to retain Henry Leger: 3,615 Approveda
  • Votes to replace Henry Leger with Richard Rutkowski: 1,719
