Fred "Mac" Fortner, Jim Hershberger, Matthew Judd and Roger Lutze were recalled from their positions as elected officials in Davison, Michigan, in a recall election on November 2, 2010. City council member David Martin was also a recall target on the ballot, and he alone retained his seat.[1]
"Mac" Fortner was serving as mayor when he was recalled.
Doug Gilmore organized the recall campaign. At its successful conclusion, he said, "I hope whoever goes into office really takes heed to what happened and they they think about who they are representing that they listen to the people of Davison."[1]
