A Florida Stem Cell Research Amendment will not appear on the November 6, 2012 ballot in the state of Florida as an initiated constitutional amendment. If enacted this measure would have prohibited the state from spending tax revenue on experimentation that involves the destruction of a live human embryo. The amendment was introduced by Citizens for Science and Ethics, Inc. on September 22, 2005.[1]
