Biography
Kildee was born in 1929 in Flint, Michigan. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School, Kildee went on to earn his B.A. from Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit, Michigan, in 1952 and his Teaching Certificate at Detroit University in 1955. He also earned an M.A. from the University of Michigan in 1961. Prior to his political career, Kildee worked as a teacher.[3]
