Colorado Amendment 5 (1988)

Colorado Amendment 5 (1988) was a measure regarding property tax exemption for non-producing, unpatented mining claims. This ballot measure was referred to the ballot by the Colorado General Assembly. It passed with 51.9% of voters in favor.

Text of measure

An amendment to Section 3 of Article X of the Constitution of the State of Colorado, creating an exemption from property taxation for non-producing unpatented mining claims.^[1]
