Bob Lepley, Dan Micoff, Masha Treusch-Pelzer, Howard Draft and Jesse White were recalled from their positions as elected officials of Marine City, Michigan on November 2, 2010.
Lepley was the city's mayor and Michoff was its mayor pro tem at the time of the recall. Treusch-Pelzer, Draft and White were city commissioners.
Marine City resident Terry Dawe was a leader in the recall effort.[1]
The language on the petition seeking their recall said that the recall effort was mounted for "...supporting personnel mismanagement in the city and supporting increasing the water and sewer rates by a substantial amount."[2]
