Bill Konopnicki was a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing the 5th District from 2003 to 2011. He has also been a member of the Safford Public School Governing Board since 1997.

Konopnicki owns several McDonald's Restaurants and various radio stations, and is the Chief Executive Officer for WSK Management Systems.

He volunteers with the Boy Scouts, Boys and Girls Clubs, and Ronald McDonald Houses.[1]

Issue positions

Konopnicki did not provide answers to the 2008 Political Courage Test. The test provides voters with how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]

Konopnicki was ineligible to run for re-election in 2010 due to the term limits of the Arizona House of Representatives.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Konopnicki and Jack Brown were elected to the 5th District Seat in the Alabama House of Representatives, defeating opponent Barbara G. Brewer (R).[3]

Konopnicki raised $71,092 for the campaign, Brown raised $74,243, and Brewer raised $9,185.[4]
