Lauren Rodgers is the project director for state executive official content on Ballotpedia which features profiles and election coverage on governors, lt. governors, attorneys general, secretaries of state and much more.Rodgers joined Ballotpedia in May 2011. Her beats include state executives and interstate compacts. However, her primary focus is on Governors and Lieutenant Governors.
She keeps a close eye on breaking news in a number of states, including: Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Currently in Durham, NC, Lauren originally hails from Pittsburgh, PA. She studied Spanish/Political Science at the University of Delaware and earned her Masters in Public Administration from the College of Charleston. Additionally, she studied Political Science at Loyola University-Chicago and served as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Air Force.

In 2012 Rodgers was filmed as part of a campaign video for the Coalition to Protect NC Families regarding the North Carolina Same-Sex Marriage, Amendment 1 (May 2012). Her participation was not associated with her work with the Lucy Burns Institute (LBI) and was done on her own time, without the use of any LBI resources.
