Geoff Pallay is Special Projects Director on Ballotpedia.In his position, Pallay serves as director for the teams working on state legislatures and U.S. Congress.
On the state legislative project, Pallay oversees the writers on the State Legislative team, which covers the 7,384 state legislators as well as all elections and chamber-related activity in the 50 states. In addition to his work on the state legislative team, Pallay leads the Redistricting project, which features pages on the re-mapping process in all 50 states. In fall 2011, Pallay headed a new project covering members of Congress, elections and candidates.
Prior to joining Ballotpedia in June 2010, Pallay was a policy analyst for the South Carolina Policy Council, where he covered a number of issues including the state budget.
Originally from New Jersey, Pallay spent 8 years in the south, studying Journalism and History at Emory University before earning a Masters in Public Administration at the College of Charleston.
Pallay lives in Boston, Massachusetts where his wife is a resident at Tufts University Medical Center.
