Anthony Traficanti, John McNally and David Ludt recall, Mahoning County, Ohio (2010)
From Ballotpedia
An effort to recall Anthony Traficanti, John McNally and David Ludt from their positions as county commissioners in Mahoning County, Ohio was announced in March 2010.[1]The Fraternal Order of Police is behind the recall effort. They are upset because county budget cuts are requiring the county's sheriff to lay off a third of his staff and close half the county jail.[2]
The recall was ultimately abandoned. As of January 2011, the commissioners of Mahoning County are John McNally, Carol Rimedio-Righetti and Anthony Traficanti.
Path to the ballot
16,000 signatures on recall petitions will be necessary to force a recall vote.
